The Top 10 Benefits After Attending Matt Episcopo’s Supervisor Training:

Increase Productivity

Leadership training creates an opportunity to reach new heights and achieve set goals. With this, performance is enhanced as you develop your skills through training. This allows you to identify high potential employees on your team who aspire to unlock their full potential.

You are more likely to stay focused and achieve greater successes when you are invested in building your dreams, goals and company’s vision.

Increase employee engagement and reduce staff turnover

When you give employees a role in your company’s future, they respond with loyalty.

Developing your own people also is less expensive than bringing on new recruits, as it doesn’t require you to spend money on advertising, recruitment agency fees, HR costs, travel and relocation expenses, etc. In terms of turnover, the most common reason for employee exodus is a bad manager, that is, poor leadership.  Work towards being the best leader you can be to avoid these pitfalls.

Nurture future leaders

You need to be strategic about developing and nurturing your own future leadership track. Without strategy, leadership roles are often given to the most forward candidates with dominant personalities.

Quality leadership is a combination of the right qualities and the right training.  Engage in succession planning and envision your career pathway.  If you aren’t clear where you are going, you will never get there.

Improve your managerial skills and abilities

Training programs teach you new strategies that will improve your performance, and in turn the performance of the business. As you learn, and see your skills grow, you better align to your leadership role. This further enhances engagement as you are motivated by building upon new successes.

It should develop among all supervisors a sense of responsibility for active participation in making improvements. As you develop your talents and abilities in management, you strengthen your needs of improving performance of yourself and your team of people.

Improve Risk Management

Companies know that when conducting business, an element of risk will always be present. Companies therefore need  future and current leaders trained in risk management.

This brings strategic vision and risk management and mitigation skills to the company. Improving leaders’ risk management skills will add extensive value to any business, increasing your value as an employee.

Achieve better project leadership

Without sufficient project leadership skills, leaders will likely struggle to handle all aspects of a project. This might cause the project to go off course and end in substantial losses to the business and harm to your reputation as a leader. Staff morale is also likely to decrease due to incorrect guidance and magnified stress.

By learning effective leadership skills, you will be able to better manage your teams and complete projects efficiently and on schedule. This increased efficiency will boost your overall productivity and result in greater profits, enhancing your reputation as a strong leader.

Improve company culture

Leadership development programs reinforce a company’s vision, mission and values by improving understanding, gaining alliance and setting an example.

Further, a key component of leadership development is an understanding by the leader of your role in creating corporate culture. This understanding, combined with specialty leadership communication skills training empowers you to proactively build the culture from among your team and have a positive impact on culture goals.

Effectively manage change

Leadership development helps people navigate both challenging times and times of rapid growth or change by increasing your ability to respond rapidly in unpredictable business environments.

Effective leadership is essential during critical times such as drastic change, rapid growth, workforce reductions, mergers/alignments, new product development, rebranding, corporate restructuring, political upheaval, changing marketplace and new competition.

Build effective work teams

Leadership programs benefit the followers as much as you, as the leader. As a leader with greater clarity, direction and effectiveness enables those traits to trickle down to those you are leading. Followers will have a great sense of direction and purpose, which leads to greater motivation to accomplish their tasks and produces greater organizational effectiveness. Leadership programs focus on teaching leaders how to produce satisfied followers.

Training focused on building teams ensures that you are intentional in these acts, including: understanding roles people play on a team, group interactions, motivations and pitfalls of groups and more.

Enable better decision-making

Leaders functioning at a high level of emotional intelligence have the perspective to make informed, intelligent business decisions. For that reason alone, you can consider your leadership training investment returned.

The investment you make in leadership training will return a very impressive Return on Investment for your organization, too.

According to a Global Coaching Client Study by ICF, 86% of the companies able to provide figures to calculate ROI from leadership training indicated they had at least made their investment back: 19% showed an ROI of at least 50 times (5000%) the initial investment, while a further 28% saw an ROI of 10 to 49 times the investment. “The median company return was 700%, indicating that typically a company can expect a return of seven times the initial investment,” ICF reported.

So, why are great leaders so scarce?

It’s not because most supervisors are incapable of leadership. It’s simply that most aren’t getting the guidance they need before they’re placed in leadership roles. To be consistent with the visions, values, and strategies of most organizations, supervisors need to receive information on how to strengthen your capability to meet your organization’s goals.

Accordingly, if those skills and capabilities are left unattended, supervisors will not achieve the desired impact and effectiveness. Therefore, engaging in specific leadership training will bring you one step closer to reaching your personal and organizational goals.

Our training is not one-size-fits-all companies or all supervisors. At MEE, we partner with you and teach collaboratively to build upon existing strengths so that you:
